I think we need a rule for **Dio** , prohibiting him from talking about law. He’s not a lawyer, knows nothing about law, and is almost always wrong when he tries to talk about law. Like that other jackoff that kept passing out bogus medical advice. ---

It’d be nicely symmetric if we also had a law that prevented lawyers from talking about anything except the law. There are far too many of them who act as if a few years of rhetoric and critical analysis qualifies them to talk knowledgeably about say, rocket science. ---

I have to say that in eleven years on the board, I don’t recall one instance of a lawyer trying to pretend expertise in rocket science. ---

So many legal questions are fair game for the general population and don’t require much more than personal experience or common sense. We’re not asking him to handle the appeal on a capital case so let him speak. I was always taught that it takes two to tango. I’ve walked away from many a dance in my short stay here and it seems to work fairly well for me. ---

I’ve met plenty of lawyers who think they’re biochemists, engineers, or computer scientists, when they really aren’t. Of course, other professionals are guilty of the same shit, but lawyers seem particularly egregious about it. ---
