Which is why I’ve stopped responding to anything **Dio** posts. Although I do occasionally find his responses to people calling him on his bullshit amusing.

Why is ‘long-term success’ a necessary criteria for a relationship to be ‘mature’?

That’s what I’m leading up to, don’t chase it.

Granted, **Dio** has a pretty good pattern of ignoring the fact I post in this thread, so I’m not holding my breath. I imagine him plugging his ears and yelling “is not, is not” when he reads some of these posts.

The Dio has spoken. Do not question.

Because the people involved need time to really get to know each other on a deeper level than just fucking and fantasizing, because there needs to be enough time to get past the intial, superficial, endorphin rush phase (which is very easy to mistake for being in love), and for the relationship to be able to face some kind of stress testers.

I think the same thing about duo relationships, especially when those relationships contain a factor that bodes for a statistically lower chance of genuine bonding and long-term survival (extreme age differences, for instance, or long distance relationships. The skepticism I have for this poly stuff is nothing compared to the eye rolling I can do over internet romances).

Do you remember the exact date you became a crank or was it a gradual process?

Hilarious that you guys are calling me self-righteous, by the way. I haven’t nmade a single moral judgement in this thread. It’s the rest of you that are in high dudgeon.

I was pretty much born this way, but I prefer to call myself a realist.

Yeah, that’s a common quirk of cranks.
