I noticed a new member joined recently, and made their first post here: > [@Cat-Sitter refused US entry; Also asked if she had an Abortion](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/cat-sitter-refused-us-entry-also-asked-if-she-had-an-abortion/968001/13): > > My Google Analytics data sent me here… I’m the deported cat sitter, Madolline. I just published the blog post about the ordeal. @CalMeacham, you said you wanted to read it wink[https://onecatatatime.co/an-unfortunate-start-and-end-to-my-most-recent-cat-sitting-holiday/](https://onecatatatime.co/an-unfortunate-start-and-end-to-my-most-recent-cat-sitting-holiday/) Discourse didn’t put its standard “please welcome this new member” banner above it. [Moderator Note - Link to post fixed] ---

See post #13, which was apparently the first post made by that member: > [@Cat-Sitter refused US entry; Also asked if she had an Abortion](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/cat-sitter-refused-us-entry-also-asked-if-she-had-an-abortion/968001/13): > > My Google Analytics data sent me here… I’m the deported cat sitter, Madolline. > [@running\_coach](#): > > Maybe she pushed @discobot off the counter. Looks like @discobot pushed her off of the counter. The system flagged her as a potential spammer, presumably since her first post contained a link. I’m guessing the system doesn’t give you a welcome banner if your first post has to go through moderator approval.
