# Discourse Hub mobile apps

I’m not much for phone apps because phone screens are so small but i know some of you use your phones to access. Could you go check this out?

Of course WE aren’t live there yet so you can’t test the Dope but you can see the main site.

I‘ve used a different message board which is hosted on Discourse for a couple of years now, and I mostly access it on my iPhone. I’ve never used the dedicated mobile apps (in fact, I didn’t know they existed) but the site itself is very mobile-friendly.

The app reviews for Discourse on Google Play are abysmal - mostly 1-star reviews (the lowest you can go). It’s supposedly just a skin for Chrome, with no actual benefit to using it. Sad, because I was hoping for an improved interface. Hopefully, it’ll be fine out-of-the-box.

Out of curiosity, do we have an ETA for when the switchover does go live?

No firm time, just “sometime Thursday.” I’ll inquire.

Sorry to hear these apps are awful. But supposedly the mobile experience is good even without the apps.
