I downloaded [DiscourseHub](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.discourse&hl=en_US) for my Android device but it doesn’t fund the message board when I search for it.

- When I type in ‘Straight’ it seems to lock up
- I add ‘Dope’ and it says “Straight Dope was not found!”
- When I type ‘SDMB’ it seems to lock up

I know the app has lousy reviews but if it doesn’t find the boards, then it’s completely useless for me.

**It seems that the app is not made by Discourse itself, but by a third party.**

One of the Discourse techs said that it’s just a wrapper for a browser, poorly rated, and not necessary.

Discourse is designed to work on tablets and mobile, and it’s best to use a normal browser. There’s no advantage to using the app.
