Should be really good. _Storm Chasers_ was a great show that ran three seasons. Discovery put together a special to remember Tim Samaras, his son Paul and their colleague Carl Young.

Comes on right after Mythbusters. Set your DVR.

I’m impressed that Discovery pulled this special together so quickly.

I was hoping they’d run a Storm Chasers marathon. But so far they haven’t.

Well, it wasn’t actually a special on Tim and his crew. There was some great footage of Tim setting up his cones that measured the wind strength. Very dangerous work because he was right on the edge of the tornadoes.

The footage of Moore getting hit was difficult to watch. I’m sure glad there weren’t more fatalities.

Tim did some important work measuring tornado strengths. He wasn’t just a thrill seeker looking for a photo opportunity. His team’s work will be missed.
