I said that incidents like the one where the tank fired on journalists because it mistook their camera for an RPG launcher happen because in a normal war, if you see a press vehicle and a bunch of press vested dudes, you can trust that they aren’t about to launch an anti-tank missile at you. It explains why, just because a “Press” vest was clearly visible, an Israeli soldier might still feel justifiably threatened when he notices a tube pointed at his tank. Avoiding those sorts of mistakes is precisely why the rules about press vests, targeting people wearing them, and forbidding combatants from wearing them exist. If any part of that set of rules is discarded, nothing works. ---

They’ve shut down civil defence. Stopped almost all food, water and medicines from getting through to the north. That this appears to make you gleeful is kinda sick, to be honest.
