Question: Are Mods and/or admins able to edit polls? In other words, could you change a non-multiple-choice poll into a multiple choice poll? Could you add or remove items? (at the pollster’s request or otherwise)

You might want to go read the “primer on polls” directly below this thread; this question and others are answered there.

The short answer is yes, mods\* can\* edit polls, just as we can edit posts. We _will_ edit polls just as we edit posts – sparingly, and only to correct actual problems. We will not add or subtract poll options, for instance, once the polling as actually started.
