Somebody voted for them. Did they all keel over dead? You’re just going to have to deal with the fact that this is their own doing and THEY are the ones who are going to have to fix it.
What the fuck do Palestinians in the West Bank have to do with Hamas? You appear to have no knowledge at all of the geopolitical circumstances of the region.
Again, different terrorist groups with the same funding from the same source.
What the fuck are you talking about? It’s a fact the the vast majority of West Bank Palestinians have not voted for terrorists.
Right. BDS has a generally consistent position. I agree with a good portion of it - economic pressure needs to be exerted on Israel so that it experiences real consequences for its unapologetic settlement expansion in the West Bank.
The wealth of college students and others who just discovered Israel in October and immediately began protesting with “from the river to the sea” suggests to me that Hamas propaganda is working.
Ironically, as I’m typing this on my lunch break, I noticed a lady next to me with a tote bag depicting Israel + WB in red and green. Not a big supporter of the two state solution apparently.
Look at the title of the thread. It’s about the Hamas attacks against Israel. My response was to the idea that supporting Palestine on day one of the attack was questionable.
Maybe you should start a new thread about the sainted people in the West Bank.
And since you can’t deal with the fact Gaza voted Hamas into power and created this mess you had to run to the pit for your cyber bulling fix for the day.
You’re a real work of art.
What the fuck are you talking about? The West Bank has nothing to do with Hamas. Israeli settler violence against peaceful West Bank civilians has nothing to do with Hamas.
And yet the thread is about Hamas Attacks on Israel which makes it about GAZA. That’s what the thread is about.
Then why were you blaming the West Bank Palestinians, who have nothing at all to do with Hamas?
Most of them, yes. 18 years since the last election, and a median age of 18, do the math.
Say what? No, that doesn’t follow at all, and in fact life expectancy in Gaza in the last 18 years hasn’t been particularly short. Life expectancy in Gaza is roughly the same as in the US (around 76), and longer than in, say, Mexico (70) (though worse than Israel (80))
It’s not that most of the older people died, it’s that a lot of new people were born.
That was a lazy assumption. To be fair, it’s in response to someone who’s all for the collective punishment of all Gazans in any location and blames Hamas for settler terrorists, so I don’t really care. Point to Babale.
Not just all Gazans, all Palestinians.
I’m leaving that stupidity up. I had it correct in a previous version of my comment. Point to iiandyiii as well.
You forgot an i…
Now you’re just fishing for points.
Same racist, blood thirsty country with a decades long track record of oppressing and killing their neighbors.
Given the support BDS and other pro-Palestine orgs had received before Oct 7, I don’t think this is an assumption you are justified in making. Israeli Apartheid Week has been a thing on campuses and other venues globally for decades.
