Ditto. I have regular pocket stuff i keep in my right front pocket, my left front pocket, and the coin/watch pocket. It’s true that when i wear other pants i may spread it around differently. And i sometimes put something in a breast pocket. But i went with “the clothes I’m wearing as i answer this question”. ---

I work graveyard shift, so the position of the Sun in the sky is mostly irrelevant to me. Standard Time, Daylight Time, I don’t care. Pick one, and stick with it. ---

I want Daylight time to go back to end of March to beginning of October. It was less jarring, and people didn’t piss and moan about it as much. ---

But that’s less than usual. Right now I only have the basic stuff that I generally have if I’ve got clothes on (and also I have on the pants in which the slightly larger pocket on top of the cargo is too small to hold the flip phone; the newer ones have a pocket big enough, and in those I’d be using five even with the current load.) If I go anywhere – either to town or out in a field – I’ll be carrying additional stuff; some but not all of which would fit in the same four or five pockets. And even just hanging around the house, if I had on the top layer shirt which has side pockets instead of one that doesn’t, there’d probably be something in at least one of them. So a more common number is six or seven; and sometimes it’s eight or nine. If we’ve got to have DST, it may as well run through October, as November’s usually the first month around here when it’s too cold to hold an outdoor afternoon farmers’ market, and it’s still (barely) light enough to hold the morning one through at least part of October on DST. But I’d happily change the afternoon market hours further if in exchange I’d get year round standard time. I don’t really like either provolone or swiss cheese. (And I still want my smoked gouda and pepperjack!) ---

Yes they did. It’s just that social media hadn’t really gotten steam up yet when they changed it, so there weren’t as many people that we saw bitching about it. My first husband acted like they were taking out his liver every time change ---

I was shocked at how well pistachios did. I would vote for every nut I’ve ever eaten over pistachio. I mean, they taste fine. But other nuts taste good. Also, pistachios often come already over-salted. I can buy most other nuts without salt. ---

My wife is a towel washer. Before we lived together, I infrequently washed towels, now I have to try to convince her not to wash them after every use. It doesn’t help that we have stacked washer and dryer in our master bath, so it’s an easy put in and take out. ---

If you asked me my favorite cheese Gouda would never come into my mind. I have cooked a few recipes with it. It melts nicely.
