I disagree. Not moving a muscle in your face (as specified in the poll question) as you look in the mirror should show you your normal resting face, or something damn close to it. ---

First of all, I don’t know whether my “normal resting face”, at least while I’m awake, is “not moving a muscle”. I’m generally thinking about something or other, and don’t know whether what I’m thinking of affects my face muscles. Second of all, I wasn’t going to stand up from the computer, go to a mirror, and try to figure out how much of a frown, if any, I show while trying to decide whether I’m frowning. ---

I claimed in the facial expression poll that my resting face is neutral, but on reflection, I realize it’s probably a slight frown. I’m really a quite pleasant and approachable person, but if I’m concentrating on something, I’m afraid my face assumes a daunting scowl. I can’t help it; I have heavy eyebrows. ---

My longest time living in a dwelling is our current house, which we moved into 27 years ago. It doesn’t seem possible that that much time has passed. ---

My resting face is a slight frown. It used to be a “peaceful” face but gravity and genetics are doing a number on me and pulling my cheeks down. I can live with it. I am only aware of having met two Dopers: TubaDiva and a friend who used to post but is no longer active. I met TD due to her Dope status and my email address that clued her into another hobby we had in common. ---

I’m surprised that [29% of penis wielders](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/polls-only-no-discussion/953642/3332) prefer to pee sitting down. Did I mess up my math there? 67% of the poll had a penis, there were 63 respondents, so 12 preferred sitting or 29% of the 67%. ---

It’s a making a mess thing and now that I get up a couple times a night, I don’t have to turn on the light. If a urinal is handy I use that instead, unlike some of the shy ‘kids’ who use a stall regardless. ---

I believe they’re holding the drawing, because I don’t think they want to take the risk of finding themselves all over the news, plus in court, for failing to hold it. What the odds are is another question. Is this a nationwide chain with one winner per week nationwide? ---

I took a few DNA spit tests, because all my dad could tell me was that his ancestry was “mostly Scottish” and Robinson Jeffers was a close-ish relative (he’s my first cousin, three times removed). He didn’t know his ancestry beyond his grandparents. I was curious. Turns out his ancestry _was_ mostly Scottish (some English, some Irish, and 25% Cornish), so that was confirmation. My mom thought there was a possibility she might have some small amount of Jewish ancestry, but the spit tests didn’t detect any. ---

I took a Nat Geo DNA test that told me about how my ancestors moved out of Africa through Arabia to SE Asia and then back across to Europe, a few years back. It said that I am 0.8% Denisovan and 1.5% Neanderthal, which explains my inclination towards inclusiveness (and, apparently, randiness is a venerable family tradition). ---

The only thing that disappointed me was how white I am. I have one ancestor who was Hispanic and my results had exactly the right amount of amerind for her to have been half Spanish and half amerind. Other than that, I think I was all English ---

There is a Del Taco on my way to work, so that is where I usually pick up breakfast. They’ve been running a “$1 off any $3+ order” if you answer a survey. Since I never order any of the new stuff they want feedback on, the survey takes 15 seconds. I’ve been saving something like 19% on my breakfast every day. If I had to get a “free sandwich” instead, I wouldn’t bother. I like options.
