I answered “do nothing” regarding Bob’s fishin’ hole, because my inclination is generally to mind my own business. But it’s difficult to say for sure on such a… strange hypothetical. I suppose it would come down to how well I know Bob, and perhaps how badly he’s reacting to not catching any fish. If I felt I absolutely had to intervene, I’d probably start with something innocuous like “Nice little pond ya got here. What kind of fish did you stock it with?” and let the conversation proceed from there. ---

Re: fish pond. I would send my neighbor instructions on how to make his man-made pond suitable for fish to survive in and a coupon for fish. The dog polls. I voted that I had an Irish Setter and I also voted that I never had any of the dogs listed in the 4th dog poll. Both statements are accurate. ---

I’ve never had a purebred dog, but the two of the four mutts I’ve had had recognizably significant border collie/Australian shepherd backgrounds. My inlaws had purebred German Shepherds, though. After seeing the number of health problems they had, I’d never seek one out. ---

Huh, I’m surprised artificial grape scores so high. I love artificial grape flavor. It doesn’t taste like grape, but it tastes good. Unlike artificial apple, which tastes vile. Or artificial banana, which i hadn’t thought of, but which is also really nasty. ---
