That’s still like a $1000-$1200 upgrade to London. And (if I’m not mistaken) at least on British Air the seats were no better last time I went. You just got posh food, whoopie. ---

I did specify in the non-flying options that the ticket is fully refundable, so assume you’re upgrading from a full fare completely flexible and refundable ticket, not a cheapo non-changeable ticket. ---

The booking site I’m using doesn’t let you filter for that, but spot checking several flights I see a couple refundable ones for $1072. OK, so then you’d spend $3400+ to upgrade to biz class. Still ka-ching IMO. ---

On showering/shitting I’m torn. I nearly always do the poop thing first, but then I suffer through what I consider the seriously loathing poop-smell/steam combo, ick bleh. 🤮 Or sometimes I just shower shave etc, then when done I unexpectedly realize I have to poop and feel unclean again after. 😞 ---

The poop-aroma leaves via the window, pretty slowly. I’m considering remodeling this bathroom so things may change, but fans in open beam ceilings have issues, logistic and esthetic. I’ve begun just pooping in another bathroom then scuttling to the other one to bathe, PITA. ---
