I’ve only seen JJ in Hospital waiting areas, oil change places, etc. Same with Fox News. ---

I’ve never seen Family Feud, either. (Although I’ve participated in a bunch of things modeled after it.) Maybe it’s the time of day that it ran. ---

We like to be called “gay” or “same-sex couple” or similar. “Homosexual” is somewhat offensive usage these days and is used in psychology, say, to refer to animal behaviors, not human identities. ---

Huh, I don’t think I realized that. Especially since I don’t have a good alternative to “heterosexual couple” for that poll. I guess it could have been “same sex” and “mixed sex”. ---

Anyway, my husband and I split the driving pretty close to 50/50. Like, I’ll drive there and he will drive back, or vice versa. Neither of us loves to drive, and this feels fair. We’ve always driven all the family cars, and we’ve always preferred the same one. So “my partner has a nicer car” sounded really weird to me, although I realize it might make sense for a lot of couples. But… then how to you share the driving? I mean, surely everyone does some sharing of the driving, at least on long trips? ---

We usually split 50/50, but I am tending to drive more, since the Prius gets better mileage than the van. ---

I wind up driving most of the time, partially out of habit, and partially depending on which car we take. - If we take the Mustang (my car), I always drive - If we take the Mazda SUV (her car), she usually drives - If we take the Corvette (which she inherited from her father), she almost always drives ---

When we’re driving together in town (I’m discounting when I drop her off on campus on my way into work) it’s at least 90/10 my wife driving her car, rather than me in mine. While all the factors do contribute (her car is much newer, in better shape, and gets better gas mileage) that was about the same before the car was a factor. Mostly, because she’s a much more conservative driver than I am, and is more comfortable being slightly pokey, and I don’t much find any fun in driving, it’s just another chore. The other issue, is how prone she is to motion sickness. She’s fine if she’s driving, but it’s always a minor issue if she’s in the front passenger seat, and a more serious one in the back seat (if we have more people with us). Combine that if we’re going anywhere new, she is uncomfortable with using gps directions and reading a map is RIGHT OUT (instant nausea), I end up doing all the navigation, even in town. Heck, she’s done all the driving on our 630 mile one way drive to see my folks every year / every other year because she’s more comfortable doing that most of the time rather than being a passenger, even considering the total hours that entails! ---

My vehicle is used to haul our dogs places, and doesn’t ever get cleaned/vacuumed (it’s a Jeep thing). My gf carries a lint roller when I drive. Not a comfortable ride, though I like it. Her car gets detailed periodically and is very comfortable. I enjoy driving it. But I drink when we take her car, so she usually drives us home. ---

Regarding the sex quality poll, I strongly suspect there’s a substantial difference between the answer for (most) males vs. females. And as @thorny_locust pointed out, there’s a huge variety in all the other factors involved. Avoiding as much prurient details and examples as possible, thinking back, my first sexual encounters were amazing and thrilling, despite my and my partners absolute lack of practical knowledge and skill. So, performance wise, mediocre to be sure. But it wasn’t mediocre sex by any means if you understand. ---
