But ketchup? Puzzled. This ketchup is more different from storebought ketchups than good fermented sauerkraut is from the dollop a fast-food place puts on your hotdog. Much less sugar, to start with. Tomatoes and peppers with flavor, to continue with. It’s really a different creature, which should probably have a different name. ---

I always interpreted the “I lit a fire” at the end or “Norwegian Wood” as narrator lighting a fire _in the fireplace_, to keep warm. ---

Every vending machine I’ve used in the past decade, at least (probably longer), has accepted dollar coins. Also, what’s wrong with “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer”? I _like_ that song. When I first heard it over 20 years ago I wasn’t aware it was unpopular and that I wasn’t “supposed to” like it, so I enjoyed listening to it. It’s a fun, jaunty little song. ---
