Do I know what a bomb cyclone is? I live near San Francisco, so I do now. Electricity has been out for 22 hours, and PG&E still doesn’t even have an estimate for when it will be restored. ---

In my previous house I _installed_ a switch that does nothing.\* Butter, cream cheese, and jalapenos. mmm \*I was planning on running some wiring to install outside lights, never got around to it beyond the switch. ---

The other day I put salsa and Parmesan cheese on a piece of bread. Toaster oven until done. I called it pizza. ---

I had never tried, or even given a thought to, avocado toast until I happened to try some at a small corner cafe in Australia. It was avocado, feta, black pepper, and some unknown greens atop a piece of thick, rustic toast. It was the second time I’ve ever fallen in love. mmm ---

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K. I suspect that convenience store/gas stations are pretty regional. I don’t remember ever hearing about, let alone seeing, Sheetz, RaceTrac, or Wawa; and 7-11 is pretty famous but not common in my neck of the woods. On the other hand, Casey’s and Thornton’s are pretty common here. ---

I need a “none” choice for favorite convenience store/gas station since I don’t get snacks or gas at convenience stores. ---

Wawa extends into New Jersey, or at least used to. I remember seeing one in Princeton awhile back. ---
