I voted as you did even though I don’t find them terribly annoying. At least Flo is human. The gecko hasn’t aged so well. I don’t drink coffee and never have (though I like the scent) I use a French press for brewing cacao, and I have a fine mesh strainer for when I’m doing posh tea instead of bagged stuff. And I agree with @pjd that the French press is a bugger to clean. ---

For the sleep poll: I clicked ‘with job, different at least one day a week’. But the difference is usually within an hour to an hour and a half window. I’m generally an early riser and wake without an alarm clock somewhere between 5 and 6. I’m also pretty well done for the day by 10 pm and need to crawl in bed. So, I get in bed at about 10, but I always read a bit or watch Youtube things for a while. I generally start to fall asleep over the iPad, and finally conk out for good at 11. There’s a good 45 minute window either way though between being actually in bed and then turning out the light and going to sleep. ---

@elfkin477: I have a job, but not the kind of job that I think you mean: I’m self-employed, and while some days the job imposes a time schedule, most days it doesn’t – or rather, the schedule’s got to do with the weather, not with the clock. So I didn’t vote, because I thought my vote would be misleading. ---

Back before I retired, I got up at one time on the weekdays, and a different time on the weekends. Now I just go to bed and wake up whatever the hell I feel like it, except that day, we play bridge at the senior center. ---

I don’t have set times go sleep or to wake Some days I have to get up early, some days I don’t. Some days I’m in bed by 9:00 p.m., some days it’s after 11:00. Yet, I don’t have any trouble sleeping. ---

I don’t have a dishwasher; but I do have two of the other appliances, so I voted under the presumption that I’d do the same thing with the dishwasher if I did (which was not leave it running.) ---

I go to bed/sleep at various times (between 22:00 and 01:00) depending on stuff. But i always get up at 08:42 for reasons i can’t remember. ---
