I couldn’t really remember if it was “gobs” or “globs” either. I actually went with “globs” in the poll because that’s what most people in [this thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/naughty-kid-rhymes-and-songs/259884) seemed to be using. So I find it a little ironic that everyone now is saying it should be “gobs”. But as far as I’m concerned they’re so similar it hardly matters.
