And meanwhile I’m surprised “Bite my shiny metal ass” only got just a little over 50% in my poll. I thought that was the easiest one (It’s Bender from Futurama). I was expecting “Did I do that?” to be higher, too (Steve Urkel, Family Matters), but I guess I’m one of the few young enough to have watched sitcoms targeted at tweens in the early 90s. ---

Maybe you could also post the shows for your poll. I recognized a lot of them _as_ catchphrases but couldn’t always tell where they came from. ---

Make it three. For the comedies, I _may_ have seen all of _Fawlty Towers_ but am not sure. As Tehani said to Elanor in _The Good Place_ when they were watching a ficticious BBC comedy together, “It’s been on the BBC for nine years. That means there are _seventeen_ episodes.” _Babylon 5_ and _Firefly_ I own. Three of the four Star Trek programs (less Voyager) I’ve seen all of because they were streaming on Netflix before Paramount+ got started. All the others, nope. ---

I watched all of _Firefly_, _DS9_, and _Voyager_ when they were on Netflix. Ditto for _Stranger Things_. _Lost_ was appointment TV for me, and in the early days of streaming when networks made shows available on their websites for free I would watch it that way if I missed an episode. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen all of _TNG_, since I watched all of the later seasons when they originally aired as a kid, and a ton of reruns of the early seasons, but it’s possible there’s an episode or two I missed. ---

It’s distinctive and it was probably said every episode by the main character. Did the Swedish Chef actually say “bork, bork, bork” that often. He is only part of the Muppet menagerie. ---

I’m probably dating myself, but I knew most of those TV catchphrases. I empty the dishwasher from the top down, withdrawing and pouring out any trapped water from bowls, container tops etc. so it doesn’t get wet things that are below. The Episcopal Church’s wedding liturgy includes asking if anyone knows any reason why the couple can’t be lawfully married. Similar to **Loach** ’s link, there’s an old story of a prankster who ran into a wedding ceremony at that moment, shouted “Wait!,” then looked around, said, “Ooops, sorry, wrong church!” and ran out again. I’m downtown for my job, sometimes lunch and even less frequent shopping. I have little reason to go downtown on weekends. All in all I like traveling, but can get impatient with delays, bungling by airlines, missed connections, etc. I hope to travel more if and when I retire. I’ve seen every episode of _Firefly_ (that wasn’t hard, there are so damn few!), and _ST:TOS_ through _ST:VGR_. I am woefully behind on my _ST_ viewing otherwise. I also saw every episode of the original _BSG_ when it first aired, and _The X-Files_, too. Big fan, back in the day. ---

None of the hair-in-food options apply to me, and there is no “other”, so no vote from me. I found a hair in my restaurant food only once, and I was sufficiently disgusted to skip that meal entirely. I declined all offers for a replacement meal.
