For Trump’s care for the Good of the American People I gave him a 2. He cares a bit for those who worship him, because otherwise how can he bask in the attention, and as someone who grifts, he cares a bit that they stay alive and giving. But that’s about it. At zero as many rate him, I think he’d have been more aggressive in his first term about selling out. But at best he considers us (and I’m not including those of us who voted against him) as useful peasants. ---

Bone-in lamb chops are complicated. Is it a tiny “lollipop chop”, served as a walking appetizer at a fancy wedding? I hold the clean bone with my fingertips and eat the meat, because i don’t have any utensils and that’s obviously what’s expected. Is it a larger, meaty chop served on a plate? I use a fork and knife. If I’m at home, i buy the larger chops, (often as a rack), or kidney chops rather than rib chops, and i use a fork and knife to eat most of the meat, and remove most of the excess fat, but then i pick up the bone and gnaw on it. ---

In a restaurant with bone-in meat, of course I use a knife and fork. At home we eat the same way, however when finished our dogs are trained to nibble remaining meat off the bone while we each hold our dinner. This is the reason we buy t-bones. ---

I would start with knife and fork. Whether I’d finish by picking up the bone and gnawing on it would depend on multiple factors, such as how much meat was left after I’d done what I could with utensils, what the other people at the table seemed to be doing, what type of occasion it was, and what my relationship was with the other people present. ---

@thorny_locust’s answer was very similar to mine. It also depended on how good it was. If it was good, but I was too polite or socially constrained to gnaw at the table, I’d likely mention how wonderful the meal was and how full I was, and take it home in a doggie bag. And as soon as I got home, cave-man time! ---

But if the meat is good, I will pick up the chop bone- especially a steak- and gnaw the rest off. Not at a formal dinner, but even at a formal dinner, I would eat bone in fried chicken by hand- and if they serve it that way, they will expect people to do so, which is why it is generally a boneless cutlet of bird instead. ---

For a chicken leg, I may or may not expect that being served as a “full” leg - thigh and drumstick. That would be fork and knife. It could be JUST a drumstick, at which point, it would likely depend on the _type_ - breaded, fried chicken is almost always expected as finger food. A drumstick of another sort, could be stewed, poached, or otherwise fixed with a wet method, which I’d probably fork and knife. Otherwise, a dry method is maybe 50/50, it would depend on what others were doing. ---

If somebody serves me a chicken drumstick, I’m going to assume that they expect me to pick it up. If you’re having too fancy a party for that, serve something else. (If by “leg” the poll means “thigh”, then I should change the answer; a chicken thigh on the bone gets the same answer as the lambchop did.)
