I’ve used ketamine by doctor’s prescription. I had wanted to try psilocybin or LSD but I have not yet done so because I have a possibly-bipolar sibling and there is the risk of my having a latent bipolar gene triggered into activation myself if I do so. The ketamine made me feel like I was being spun around in a washing machine and I found myself clutching blankets or turning on light switches on and off to make sure I was still alive. Either that, or it felt like a slow movie of endless scenes of subways, trains, billboards in China, etc. ---

I have minor (?) control-freak issues. I avoid drugs in general (I tried MJ enough to know I didn’t like it) and alcohol past the point of being tipsy. I am terrified of Hallucinogens, but that’s me. I don’t pass judgement on others, especially those taking them in controlled circumstances or by medical need. ---

If they’re trying to get you that badly, there’s easier ways to do it than claiming you must have been telling the truth when confessing to a crime in a message board poll, quite possibly long after the statute of limitations ran out. ---

At 50-64 degrees it wouldn’t occur to me to warm up my car. Compared to how this winter has been that’s practically tropical. This is my first car with remote start. If i remembered I would turn it on ahead of time on cold days. It runs better when warmed up. I very rarely remember to turn it on. ---

I took dextromethorphan at the dose my doctor told me to take for a cough, and had extremely unpleasant overdose symptoms, but they didn’t include hallucinating. So i answered “no”. I have also gotten prescriptions for codeine cough syrup ever since. That was a really unpleasant trip. ---

I live in between of a couple of semi-decent Single-A teams, so I can see various Dodgers and Angels on rehab assignments all summer long.
