No, it’s the car polls. They were created as multiple choice polls – the options have check boxes rather than radio buttons, and you can check more than one box. Except they wont let you vote unless you check exactly one box, if you check more the vote button gets grayed out. That’s a very strange way to make a poll if you only want to allow a single choice. Why not just make it a single choice poll in the first place, the kind with radio buttons, not check boxes? ---

We still have a landline; historically, it’s been because: 1. Cell reception in our area is spotty, at best, partially because of a number of forest preserves that surround us, and partially because the town directly east of us long fought against any cell towers being built there. 2. Power outages used to be quite common here, and we wanted to make sure that we had a phone option that wasn’t dependent on electricity. We’re now at the point where the landline gets used pretty infrequently, mostly because our cell reception has improved over the years; at some point, we’ll probably ditch it. ---

Then that’s absolutely a fair cop. It has happened, not _just_ by accident like @Maserschmidt mentions, but because I was originally going to do a poll with multiple choice options but then re-wrote it (sometimes repeatedly) to break out different sections. And then I’m often just NOT thinking about the changes I just made and too busy entering the entries instead of _thinking_ about which is the most appropriate. it doesn’t help (not an excuse though) that about every third time I try to do a poll I click something elsewhere incorrectly and close the whole darned thing accidently. So again, without the melodrama, mea culpa. ---

I don’t know if you consider a phone line that goes through the internet as a “land line.” I have a phone that is plugged into a base and it’s not a mobile phone. I have it because the package with cable, internet and phone was cheaper than just getting cable and internet. I never use it and I don’t have the number memorized. ---

If I won that raffle my only interest would be in re-selling the car for maximum value once it’s mine after 5 years. So I’d pick whichever car is closest to $50,000, keep it in tip-top condition (only driving once a month) and then re-sell. ---

I have a plain old telephone line, but the “wire” to my house is duvet optic. Which means the thing has a battery to power it for a while in event of a power outage. And as to limos and party buses… I’m honestly not sure. ---

I’ve been in a lot of limos, mostly during the early 2000s, when I was flying a lot for work, and the cost for taking a limo to and from O’Hare was often less than the cost of a cab. I’ve only been on a party bus once, when I was part of a wedding party, and the maid of honor rented one to transport us from the wedding to the reception, with a couple of stops at a bar, a liquor store, and a White Castle, on the way. 😉 ---

I’m not entirely sure what a party bus is, but I’m pretty sure I’ve never been on one. I think my mother and I might have ridden in a limo at my father’s funeral, but I’m not at all sure. That wasn’t what my mind was on at te time. ---

I’ve been on a party bus in Aruba. It was just a short transport from the hotel to a sunset cruise so about a half hour each way. But it was fun! Rum and singing in a bus with the roof chopped off. Fun times. ---

I honestly can’t remember if I’ve been in a limo or not. I’ve been ferried around to so many different locations for work that it’s possible, but I said no. I’ve never been on a party bus, but I know what they are. ---

Honestly, it depends on what counts as a limo or a party bus. I used to hire a “limo” to take me to the airport, because it wasn’t a lot more money than a regular cab and it was a lot more reliable about actually shooting up. But there’s an implication of luxury in the word “limo” , and those were just large cabs with a black exterior. I’ve been packed into a bus to take a busload of wedding-goers from the hotel in Manhattan to the wedding venue in the sticks. But there wasn’t anything especially festive about the ride. I’ve also been on a bus of gay square dancers driving around a city and stopping from time to time to dance in iconic places. That was kind of festive on the bus, with a host who was supposed to provide some entertainment. But it was basically just being on a bus. No alcoholic beverages were served, for instance. Probably the best answer is “yes” to the limo and “no” to the party bus. But i picked “other” for both. ---

I took plenty of rides in giant black SUVs, and even in some vans that were reinforced for security, but no long black cars. ---
