That’s more or less why I picked April – it’s right in the middle of the longest stretch without any public holidays in the US. Although unlike most countries, in the US the existence of a public holiday in and of itself doesn’t guarantee workers actually get the day off. ---

My only actual limo ride was to go to my grandmother’s burial. Definitely not a party. If I ever got to go on a party bus I’d like to go one like the one in the show _Somebody Somewhere._ A guy behind me in line at the market months ago was wearing a show jacket from that show, so I mentioned how I loved it. He said they’d cancelled it. Damn them! ---

My only limo ride was on my wedding day. It was fun trying to get in there wearing the floofy dress and the winter coat. ---

As I get older, I think about the movies where a vampire has lived hundreds of years, and I think ‘how did you not just become an inert lump at some point?’ Because I couldn’t do it, as much as I enjoy life right now. ---

Re: Netflix poll: Other—don’t answer, as I don’t know what criteria they’re using so there’s no point in engaging with it. Same thing when Facebook asks “do you want to more posts like this?” Well, it depends on what “like this” entails, doesn’t it? ---

I used to travel to Vegas once a year with a group of friends. One of them was a whale and there were always 2 limos waiting for us to go from the airport to the hotel. It’s at most a 20 minute ride. ---
