Holy Grail is mostly remembered for the good bits, but there are several not so good bits, so I gave it a 4, ---

That’s fair, I guess, but to me, there are enough good bits that are _so_ funny and _so_ iconic that I couldn’t give it less than a 5. When I watch _Holy Grail_, I see a team of virtuoso sketch comics at the top of their writing and performing game. ---

Add me to the group of 4s. personal enjoyment wants to make it a 4.5, but I can’t give it a 5 in all honesty. Though, to be fair, I almost never give a 5/5 or 10/10 rating. I much prefer more granular rating methods. I will say almost all the gags “land” for me, but the pacing/timing of some sequences drag for me, and probably far more so for a younger audience. ---

All of this is why I gave it a 3.5. 20 years ago I would have given it a 4.5, though. (The ending is why it could never be a 5.) ---

The ending is one of several instances of breaking the 4th wall. I love it. ---

I don’t usually see the goslings, because the geese are nesting down by the lake, and I’m not usually down there (nearly all that area is privately owned.) But the adults fly all around the area to feed, so I very often see them on the wing. I expect later in the year some of them will be adolescents, but I can’t really tell the difference. They used to be seasonal, but for probably about the last twenty years or so some of them have hung around all winter. ---

I don’t recall seeing any geese lately, but I honestly have no idea whether they’re “in my area” or not. And since I’m not really interested in finding out, I guess that makes me a “Goose Atheist.” ---

I often see goslings. They walk around on the sidewalks near bodies of water But i haven’t noticed any yet this year. They are incredibly cute little fuzz balls. Too bad they grow up to be poop machines. ---

I don’t know if we have Canada Geese around here (SoCal), but I _think_ I might have seen some. Don’t know if that’s because I’m remembering animal videos that I’ve seen. But we do have lots of ducks (mallards) this time of year. They’re in my condo complex – in the koi pond and the swimming pool. And their was a pair outside the market yesterday when we were doing our grocery shopping. I love to watch how the drake protects his partner and is always giving the hairy eyeball to anyone who comes close. No contest, being too cold is _much_ worse than being too hot. I’m surprised the poll is swinging the other way. ---

That’s because no contest, being too hot is _much_ worse than being too cold! – or, possibly, because people vary? Being too hot also makes me feel like I can’t breathe. Being too cold doesn’t do that. ---

I couldn’t really answer without knowing how hot is “very very hot” and how cold is “very very cold.” Under one somewhat reasonable interpretation, the question is “Which do you find more uncomfortable: being dead or being dead?” I’ve heard that death by hypothermia is more comfortable than some other ways of dying, so there’s that. ---

Of those that say they prefer the heat to the cold, I wonder how many have been in situations where they are cold and don’t know how many days it will be until they are warm again. The Army is a good way to find out how you deal with extremes for long periods of time. I know I would rather deal with heat than cold.
