I find having a poll in a discussion only thread to be heresy, so I didn’t vote. 😉 Plus my answer would be “other” anyway. It would be various electronics, 2 desktops and monitors, 2-3 laptops, and a 65" TV as reasonably portable, semi-valuable options. None of the others are present, except for the firearms which I’d say are too well secured to remove _easily_. There are two handguns in a biometric safe (yes, can be bypassed but it’s hidden and cabled to a stud), and the rest are in a large vault style standing combination safe in the garage and also cabled going around several studs. ---

When we had a spare key it was hanging on our dog’s collar between his tags. Now we have a keypad on the front door and an electric garage door opener. Our unmonitored alarm system consists of a husky and a cattle dog. Good luck getting past them. The cattle dog does not like anyone but me. He barely tolerates my husband. The husky will fling himself in your way and trip you while demanding belly rubs. ---

I’m not suggesting you post that poll, but if you do, it should allow more than one box to be checked. What if i have potent pharmaceuticals _and_ fabulous jewels? Also, electronics and gold and cartons of toilet paper might be good additions. ---

Other: they would come away with deep disappointment, as nothing we have is all that fence-able. They might take a very old TV smaller than most people want. They might take the odd electronic peripheral. But unless they’re burgling for a bibliophile or clothing or kitchen stuff, they’re probably going to think it’s a waste of time. ---

From experience I know that over 90% of the time burglars go directly to the bedrooms and ransack the drawers. I have nothing and my wife has just a couple of pieces of jewelry that are worth anything. ---

We have a webcam pointed at the dog crate so we can check on her when we’re away. Does that count as a security camera? ---

I’d hung a shelf on the back of the pantry door that holds the regular sized spice and herb jars. Those are in (approximate) alphabetical order - though my son insists that Crushed Thyme should be with the C’s. The larger spice jars are on a shelf in the pantry that gets rummaged through. There is no point in organizing it. ---

The spices are in a corner cupboard, semirandomly, but the most used ones are together near the front. Unless they’re on the kitchen table or the counter, which is possible. Some of the herbs are with the spices. Some of them are in a different cupboard. Some of them, depending on season, are out in the packing shed and/or out in the field, as well as possibly on the counter or in the cupboards. I may or may not have clearly in my mind where a particular herb/spice can be reached at a given moment.
