Attractiveness, like ‘cool’, is really something for other people to determine. And, of course, it depends upon the judge - attractive people don’t necessarily find all other attractive people attractive. ---

Attractiveness, I rated myself average. But since some research indicates that people rate themselves more highly than others, I’m guessing I’d actually be a little below average. Didn’t change my vote though. ---

I was a healthy young woman with a good figure and an ordinary face. Just like essentially all healthy toddlers are cute to most adults, essentially all healthy young women are hot to most men. I rarely dressed up to show off my assets, because honestly, i hated dealing with the men, but i did from time to time. Now I’m a fat old lady, and I’m way below average. ---

My mom is dead, but her ashes are in my living room (technically in our unused fireplace). We’re supposed to take them to AZ where my dad is interred (they retired there). But we haven’t gotten around to it yet. We were really close to going when Covid struck, but we wanted to do it as a group, and now we’re scattered. We should probably move them to our dog ashes collection. ---

Given the age of this crowd, “my mother is dead” seems to be at risk of completely diluting the results of the “distance from mother” poll. It’s probably too late now, but I’m wonder if it might have been better to as either “how far do you live from the last place she lived, if she’s dead?” or “How far do you live from her final resting place?” ---

For most of my life, we lived thousands of miles apart, which worked for me. It’s only now that she’s in her (likely) last decade that we have moved her closer to us. We’re trying to get her to live with us, which would be sensible, but none of us actually want that to happen. (We get along well, we just like our own space.) ---
