(Tablet, fan, light and 5" Echo Show take up a good bit of space!). ---

And back to recent polls, I admit I’m pretty much a very close match for my father and mother, but in _very different ways_. My wife describes me as having all my father’s irritating traits: I argue both sides of a position (adversarial), I can be charming but selfish, and I always want to win, and I’m rare to admit I’m wrong. But that I have them at about 70% of the power. Still not good, but much mitigated! I get most of my empathy, and a good bit of soft-heartedness from my mother, along with a massive love of language and literature. She’s the one who makes me move from the Lawful Evil attitude of my father (how can I work the system to get ahead) to Lawful Neutral, because She’s Neutral Good, she wants the most good for the most people, though she won’t go out of her way on breaking the system to do so. But **both** are very pro-intellectual, education, evaluating situations rationally (even if being overwhelmed emotionally), and taking care of those you love. Just a lot of overlap, so 4/5 for both, though mom is a round up from a 3.5. I’d be a slightly better person if I took more after my mom, but dad’s aggressive pragmatism tends to show through more.
