Thanks to my parents’ high-rise (ok 9th floor) beachside condo, I have seen the green flash several times, including the _turquoise_ flash variation. ---

Yes I tried to lick my elbow. How would I know how to answer if I didn’t? I can lick the outside of my left elbow. For some reason the right one doesn’t even come close. ---

I had already tried to lick my elbow years (decades! my goodness) ago when the question made the round originally, I couldn’t do it then, and I doubt I’m more flexible now. ---

I’m kinda old and creaky these days, but I was in a goofy mood so I pulled my left elbow up to my face and hey presto! If I had tried the right one first I may have given up and not tried the left elbow, and never learned of my leftflexability 🙂 ---

Yay! We have a winner! The others were intended as kids’ shows and shown during the daytime. The Muppet Show was for all ages and while syndicated usually aired in the evenings in most markets. ---

Same here. My parents said that when I was barely verbal I used to watch Garfield Goose, and called it “Goo Goo Goose”. I sometimes watched Sesame Street as a teenager and Pee-Wee’s Playhouse as an adult, so I didn’t count those. Both began airing after my childhood. ---

How much personal space does an otter need? I don’t want to arrive with a lot of dread otters because they’ve attached each other. As for the right to die… I’ve gotten old enough to be keenly aware that all of us suffer from a terminal condition, it’s just a question of how long. So while i support medical assistance in dying, i think it should come with a lot of guidelines, and “is that person is going to die?” isn’t really the right question to ask. ---

There was no “I am completely opposed” option in the euthanasia poll. Why no Romper Room in the kids’ show poll? When I was little we received both Baltimore (Stu Kerr) and DC (Willard Scott) TV stations so I had two Bozos to choose from. I didn’t care for the Willard Scott Bozo, he was better at being Ronald McDonald. I was too old to watch any of those PBS shows regularly. I did watch Peewee Herman as an adult. ---

I watched Sesame Street and Captain Kangaroo when I was young, and the Muppet Show when I was older. I watched syndicated re-runs of the Mickey Mouse Club. The darkest day of my life was when I learned that Annette Funicello was married and had children older than me. 😁 ---
