Matt Berry was excellent as the Prince. He is probably best known as [Douglas Reynholm](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0487831/characters/nm1546196?ref_=tt_cl_t4) from the IT Crowd. (at least in the US) [/QUOTE] I stayed watching because of him. It internally cracked me up and kept thinking of the IT crowd…His best scene “I was born in Iran” ---

Third episode was a huge, huge uptick in quality. I’m stunned. I laughed through he whole episode. I highly recommend getting through to the third one. ---

It’s mediocre and doesn’t feel all that interesting until the last few episodes. I think it’s worth the wait, though. The setup for Season 2 is pretty interesting. I strongly suspect that Season 2 will be much better than most of Season 1 was. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk ---

I like that it’s a long serial arc rather than episodic. There are a few laughs. However, it’s not engaging me as much as the first season of either The Simpsons or Futurama. ---

Constantly hearing John DiMaggio do the same voice as he did for Mr. Panucci and Maurice LaMarche doing the same that he did for Walt (and some other minor characters) is driving me nuts. ---

They missed a good joke though near the end. When she said she’d wish she could see Elfo one more time, they should’ve had his corpse float by. ---

Kind of weak overall, but I thought it ended strong. There’s also a crazy easter egg in the last episode, when Luci is rewinding the crystal ball. There’s a brief [image](http://digitalspyuk.cdnds.net/18/34/640x320/gallery-1534772983-disenchantment-futurama-crossover.jpg) of the Futarama gang from the episode where they were traveling through time in the Professor’s forward-only time machine. That means Disenchanted is somewhere in Futurama’s far future (or possibly past, but that seems less likely)! ---

When Fry went into the cryo chamber in 1999, and the world sped up in the window behind him, as I recall at one point New York was blasted to bits by flying saucers. Then trees grew, and a castle popped up. The castle was then blasted by the saucers, and New New York was built in the aftermath. So, maybe it’s in that middle period? Anyway, I liked **Disenchantment** , though not as much as **Futurama** , and I’m looking forward to next “part”.
