of course we have moved on from the deep fried mars bar… deep fried pizza anyone? or my favourite chips (fries), cheese and chilli sauce more healthily is tuna and banana pasta, very good nick ---

I grew up eating the following: **Cream cheese and Jelly sandwiches** **Sour cream and maple syrup on french toast** (sorry, **SkyBum** – never tried it on waffles) **Peanut butter on bananas** **Grape jelly on scrambled eggs** (didn’t really like the taste, but it was cool the way the eggs turned green) **Poached eggs with ketchup** I blame my father for most of the above cullinary creations. I have no idea where he came up with them, however. Barry ---

My husband has an uncle who puts pinto beans as a topping on his ICE CREAM. Sometimes he heats them, sometimes just out of the can. I have never understood this and probably never will… YUCK ---

I’ve also been known to dip a chocolate chip cookie into the onion dip at parties. Never fails to gross people out, but it’s actually quite tasty. Barry ---

Sardines with whipped cream I kid you not, I have seen someone (admittedly very very…um…affected by substances) do this. he was very very sick ---

My word, but this has been a fun thread to read. When I was pregnant with my first: Strawberry soda and black licorice. pregnancy #2: peach milk shakes and chili dogs. ---

**Maureen** , chasing chili dogs with a peach milkshake sounds divine. Now, if you’re blending the two in your Waring, there’s some boys in white coats with a big butterfly net who are looking for you. Since you consume the real, true and genuine **black** licorice, I’m willing to give you some leeway here. With strawberry soda though? Yeech! Any flavor but strawberry. ---

Any hubby who is unwilling to satisfy a pregnant wife’s cravings must not prize the family jewels too highly. Not me, noooooo way. So **Maureen** , this means that you don’t, in fact, blend up the chili dogs and peach shake, riiiight? Just a little sanity check here. ---
