# Disney announces Cassian Andor live-action Star Wars series

they all ready have the prehistory knights of the old republic and the old republic game which established the previously unknown first sith empire 4000 years before the trilogy …… and totally canon

Most people don’t know a thing about this part of the EU, though. It’s not something they can leap into easily without alienating 90% of the potential audience. They have to ease in to something like that.

Personally I don’t think they will ever make a movie or TV series set in the KOTOR era, but they will probably tap into it for books, games, and comics again.
