My list of “must-keep as canon” things in the EU is remarkably small. The first two KOTOR games, the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games, and maybe Crimson Empire. A lot of people will say Zahn’s first trilogy is sacred, but I’m on the fence about them. I really like Thrawn and Mara Jade (and Paelleon), but the actual stories are kinda meh. And all that clone nonsense (especially that they have names with extra vowels) can be thrown out the window. ---

The KOTOR era is so far in the past compared to the movies I doubt Disney will care one way or another whether its canonicity is nixed or not.
