I think it would depend on which version of The Defenders we’d be seeing. Hulk/Dr Strange/Namor/Silver Surfer would be fantastic to fan boys, but securing the rights might be… difficult. ---

I got the sense from the article that they would be combining the characters from all four series into the team for the mini series maybe with some extras as well. ---

Yeah, they are basically doing the tv version of the movie plan. Introduce the heroes in solo ventures and then bring them together for the team movie–er–miniseries.
