```auto Display Modes Linear Mode Switch to Hybrid Mode Switch to Threaded Mode I experimented with them, but I'm still not exactly sure what they're supposed to do. Can anyone fill me in with some details? ``` ---

I think all that works here is the system default, which is threaded mode. TubaDiva ---

Actually, all three modes work, and alter the display somewhat. The “Linear” view displays all posts in the thread in chronological order - that is, you see the full text of all posts when the page loads (I think this is the default). “Threaded” mode displays the original post with a “folder tree” underneath showing the first line (or title?) of each response - you have to click on the responses to see those posts. “Hybrid”, not surprisingly, shows both - you get a small window at the top of the page with the folder tree, followed by the full text of each post in the thread.
