If I were to eat until I was stuffed and then say eat some more, would I run the risk of distending my stomach? What sort of problems could I expect? ---

Eating to the point of gastic rupture was very well documented in 1983 in a case involving a Mr. Creosote. In addition to being witnessed by dozens of people at the scene, the event was also caught on film! The result was…disturbing. ---

You may find you get more informative answers over at [dimensions](http://www.dimensionsmagazine.com/), where they have a good message board. I don’t know if you have to join/pay to post there, but you may be able to find your answer anyway. I believe there is a significant group of people who enjoy this sort of thing, and I’ve never heard of it causing a problem (other than weight gain). Doesn’t mean that you can’t distend your stomach this way, though. ---
