Yeah, okay, we all secretly want to fuck kids, and the world would be better off if society would recognize, condone, and allow that to happen. That’s all your posts every really amount to. We get it. Some degree of repression is required to live in civilization, by the way. By that I mean impulse control, the old frontal lobe that mother nature decided to bestow on us after years of evolution. If freedom meant that each of us could do whatever we wanted, we’d have chaos. Maybe I want to smack somebody I’m talking to for being an idiot. The difference between going home that night and getting hauled off for assault is a repression of my actions. Everyone recognizes that people doing whatever they feel like doing is not acceptable, so there are laws designed to prevent us from hurting one another, because we see that as bad. How much law we need is a topic for great debates. I just wanted to point out that self-control is the mark of a mature human being, not a pathology. In fact, one of the characteristics of psychopathy is a disregard for social mores and a lack of self control. ---
