Following up with their lovely Alicia Silverstone commercial, Peta now features Dita Von Teese in a print ad. See it here. Now, I’m certainly no fan of Peta and have no intention of giving up barbecued pork, but I’ve gotta give them credit for these ads. Yowza! ---

Should’ve added, I am in favor of spaying and neutering, at least of pets and Bill O’Reilly, I just don’t like Peta’s usual craziness. ---

Save an animal – objectify a woman! (Not that I think a naked/half-naked woman is necessarily objectified, and I support animal rights activists to a certain point (not all PETA folk are crazies, either), but most of these ads are as original as beer commercials. The one with Alicia Silverstone was mildly retarded. She couldn’t talk about how going vegetarian changed her life without swimming naked? And how about the implication that it ‘changed her life’ by causing her to shed pounds, in turn getting her off the Hollywood blacklist, where she was sent post-‘Fatgirl’ furore. It’s bad enough that there are plenty of teen girls who use ‘I’m vegetarian’ as a cover-up for their eating disorders. ::exhales:🙂 ---

(Side note: She’s also a spokesmodel for MAC Cosmetics, which is known for their models having a lot of makeup on. That’s almost bare by their modeling standards.) ---

After they skin the animal to make the leather coat for the PETA type, I eat the meat so that it does not go to waste. Unless of course the PETA type can convince me that the cow left them her skin in her will. ---

I may have to steal a cat and have it neutered. I’d never heard of her before this thread, ignorance definitely fought! Dita looks a **lot** like Betty Page, the same kind of ultra-black hair, bright red lipstick, and of course, the corsets and garters and whatnot. Testy ---

Motherfuck PETA. Those bashit crazy bastards have used the best known way to separate a man from his values. You may think that oh their agenda is a little extreme but I mean they do try to get people to be vegetarian and stop wearing the furs of the CUTE LITTLE FUZZY WUZZIES. This is the most absurd manipulation I’ve ever seen. What the fuck is wrong with Dita Von Teese’s manager. If you guys want to see her naked, I recall that she was in PLAYBOY even more NAKED. You cant dangle naked women in front of us like keys in front of a baby to distract us from the fact that PETA opposes medical testing on animals, aids and publicizes in the press the Animal Liberation Front, and compares animal rights to the Holocaust and the civil rights movement of the 50s and 60s. I can recommend several places to find beautiful pictures of naked women, Dita Von Teese included. Don’t take this so lightly. Don’t roll over and drool for these lunatics! ---
