# Divorce questions

My parents were essentially incompatible yet remained married for me and my sister. Looking back it would have been so much better if they divorced and went on to have happy lives on their own. It would have set a much better example for me and my sister. Staying together for the kids is not a good reason in my opinion.

So the epilogue to this thing is that we had an epic argument, and nothing came of it. If nothing else we are good at sweeping things under the rug. The things I posted earlier were the crazy distorted funhouse mirror of however I perceived what was going on. Not that there aren’t issues, but the big ones are small ones and the small ones are big ones and whatever.

At any rate we aren’t getting a divorce, that’s just a thing that she’s been threatening since about 5 minutes after we got married. I’d be happier if she and her anger issues would leave me and the kids in peace, but that’s not going to happen. So I’m left to stitch a life together out of whatever we have, which I’m sure is not unfamiliar to all spectators to this thread.
