# Dixie Carter Looks Like The Joker

Regarding the lip thing, a recent commercial on TV (with Milla Jovavich, no less) explained what is going on.

When women age, the collagen in the upper lip begins to go away, and the lip takes on that lined appearance like it’s had the juice sucked out of it. The lip collagen implants are _supposed_ to offset that and keep the upper lip stretched full. But it isn’t doing that, it makes the lips look swollen and unnatural.

“Pouty lips are supposed to be sexy.” Those aren’t pouty lips, their sucker-punched lips.

I, too, lament the trend.

At least Milla was talking about make up that is supposed to keep your lip naturally moisturized or whatever so it doesn’t look deflated, rather than injections and whatnot.
