I could tell what you were trying to say. And I also think you are being a bit hard on yourself. Everybody makes fun of somebody else for something, for better or worse, sometimes deserved, sometimes not. I think its possible to be critical of others without making moral judgements of a persons total character/worth. Or in other words, don’t sweat it Quasi (though I am sure some kind soul somewhere appreciates the thought). ---

A great story about Dixie Carter from Talking Broadway’s All That Chat message board: We had the privilege of sitting next to her in NYC at Delta Burke & Sutton Foster’s final performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie and it was a huge treat! At intermission she moved to sit with a friend and I’ll never forget how she turned to me from where she stood in the aisle and said, “Honey. Can you had me my mink?” The Lady Had Class. ---

I’ve made it a “policy” that if I offend or cause discomfort to even one person, I’ll apologize and/or explain and move on from there. That isn’t to say I don’t take it seriously, I do.
