On a related note, their new album is great. I got it through Amazon and my physical copy has Dixie Chicks and the copy has The Chicks. I’ve listened several times straight through since getting it the other day. They’re just taking a flamethrower to Natalie Maines’ ex (in a deniable way that they can’t talk about due to his lawsuit), and it really works. ---

Howard Stern did an _amazing_ +1hr interview with Natalie Maines this week. She explains the name change then Stern says aren’t you concerned that some women (feminists) offended by the term “chicks” and she laughs and says that they may just go to “The” next.
