i got a bootleg tune on a compilation CD from a friend. on it, theres a version of ‘climbing up the walls’ by radiohead (track 9 off OK computer). the backing tracks a rough sounding version of ‘midnight in a perfect world’ by DJ shadow (off ‘endtroducing…’) that sounds like it was recorded in a bucket. the singer sounds like richard ashcroft (formerly of the verve) but it isnt. so, does anyone know whos singing, or any history of this particular soundclash? cheers, 😕 ---

Thanks for looking for the track. I will not rest until I find it somewhere. I have hundreds of burned cds and dozens of hard drives from that era that I’ve been searching recently to try and find this track. I know it’s burned and/or copied somewhere so if I do find it, I’ll be sure to post this mythical unicorn here. Cheers. ---

Near as I can tell, the only remix that DJ Shadow did of a Radiohead song was [The Gloaming](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfFgr6q52wg). That seems odd considering that shortly before the OP was made, [DJ Shadow was publicly enthusiastic about working with Radiohead: > [@](#): > > Of Radiohead, he said: “That would be amazing if they did ask me to work on something.
