Sounds like McEnroe has graduated with honours from the Trump University Faculty of Conspiracy and Alternative Facts™. What gem of wisdom does this reflect? It could be “once an asshole, always an asshole”. Or, his support of No-Vax could reflect the equally valid “assholes of a feather flock together”. ---

McEnroe was one of the very few defenders of Novax when he hit that official at the US Open as well. He always behaved as if he was bigger than the game himself when he was a player throwing tantrums and then being SHOCKED that he was penalized. He simply believes in “special rules for superstars [and I’m a superstar]”. ---

I really like John McEnroe. I even cheered for him back when he was still playing. He has a real proclivity for being an idiot about things, though. He really is best when he just talks about the actual tennis. ---

I hated John McEnroe when he was a player. Loved his game. But his personality fucked up everything. He just couldn’t lose with dignity. Had to be the umps that had it in for him. ---

…oh but the way JM would often stand out by the tram lines for singles serving! Quite often after the AO Novax’ll hit Indian Wells (Mar.3) and then Miami (Mar. 23). Ok America - get ready to tell him to go jump in a lake! Hilarious if he never vaccinates, never ends up playing another Grand Slam event, and nyah nyah never gets his 21st. ---
