If the Clinton Democrats insist on keeping the Berniecrats down, they will continue to lose. Their faction is the one that lost much of the support of organized labor. Their faction is the one that decided the extremely poor weren’t worth mobilizing. Their faction is the one that mistook the stock market for the real economy, for decades in a row. Their faction is the one that go begging to the same billionaire donors as the Republican Party.
If they want to show us the door, we may just go through it. And that’s why we could end up with what I would loosely call “an American SYRIZA.”
