A lot of people fantasize about winning the lottery. Some of them fantasize to some considerable depth. I wonder how they fare after actually winning? Do they follow their plan or not?
Very few of my extended family have made the effort to keep in contact so if I were to win the lottery my response to requests for financial assistance would be robust. Similarly, I have very few friends, and a public lottery win would likely ensue a deluge of people I’ve known wanting to ‘renew their friendship’. F*** right off. That said, my nephew would find me an extremely doting uncle - though he’d likely not know better.
