Huh? I don’t think i have a “map” in mind of places I know 
I visualize them they way they are at ground level, like in google view rather than like in google map
And most of the time, I don’t have the sightest clue where north is in these places. But that might be because north, south, east, west aren’t used to navigate around here, neither in cities nor on roads, so if you aren’t lost in the woods, it’s very uncommon that you’d need to know where north is.
