Which debt is that? I’d say us _ **helping** _ to free France in the forties is adequate payback for their assistance in the British civil war of the 1760s and 1770s.

And for what it’s worth, **Kn\*ckers** is in the US.

In the UK we had the infamous [GhostWatch.](http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/ghostwatch.html)

THe plot of this TV play was a bunch of TV presenters investigating a haunted house. Even though it had been clearly advertised as a dramatic presentation many people that saw it thought it was real. They actually thought they were seeing supernatutral things happening on a live TV broadcast.

The BBC received a lot of complaints about that one.
