Do animals eat onions?

From a Three Stooges bubble gum card issued in the late 50s:
MOE: How did you get so strong?
LARRY: I live on onions alone.
CURLY: Anyone who lives on onions oughta live alone.

27, why couldn’t you say 15, or 17?

They make a frozen treat for dogs. Frosty Paws. It even comes in peanut butter flavor. It’s more expensive than ice cream, though.

We have ice cream once or twice a month and he gets about 1 scoop, half melted.

He only has food at meal times or a treat ( small chunk of meat or? ) when we are snacking. Water is available 24/7, not food.

Well, I forgot I didn’t have any onions in the house, so I had a toasted onion bagel with cream cheese instead. So far I’m still alive.

Woodchucks eat onions. And anything else I’ve ever planted in a garden.

Add a hard boiled egg between each onion and you’re on.

Are linear measurements dangerous for cats to eat? How about centimeters and kilometers? Does it matter if the cats are metric or English?

Cows will eat wild onions, and it does not do the milk any favors either.

We had a nubian goat named Elizabeth that loved onions. If she was missing from the paddock, we could just go over to the garden and find her eating onions.

Her milk would be undrinkable for at least a couple of days post onion munching.

Oddly, my alpine goat Jennifer wouldn’t touch onions. We hand raised both together; we were kids together, and the goats were 2 days and 3 days old. They make great pets. Jennifer would follow me everywhere - her oddity was climbing up on top of the goat shed and gazing serenely down.

Ah, the life of a kid in the country.
