It’s not insignificant that two of the five girls were blonds, one of whom was the star character. (It’s also worth noting that the transformation scenes were something fairly close to erotica.) For another example, was anyone here a fan of Dragonball Z? When Goku turned into a Super-Saijin, remember what color his hair changed to? It turned from black to _blond_, in order to make Goku look more exotic. ---

Anecdotally, I can tell you that Vietnamese and Chinese men like the blonde Pam Anderson types, but tend not to go for them seriously partially because of fear of rejection, but mostly because of family pressures (“Quang, why don’t you get yourself a good girl from the community?”). Vietnamese and Chinese women don’t have a “thing” for white guys over Asian guys as such - at least not on account of their “whiteness”, but they do have a preference for tall men, and that attracts them to a lot of white men. On the other hand, they also prefer tall, _slim_ men, and that knocks out a lot of white guys from the equation. So, they like guys built like Olympic swimmers, and not the big, beefy meat-and-potatoes footballer type. If the tall guy is Asian, that’s fine too. Swimmers have Japanese girls fainting at the airport. Rugby players and wrestlers, not so much. ---

I’d say there’s enough room in porn for all women to be fetishized-- Geisha/dominatrix Asian women, hot tamale Latin broads, nasty wild black women and legally retarded white women (I had that one pointed out to me. All the descriptions emphasized how _dumb_ these blondes were, they didn’t even know they were getting DPed!). Probably a little less for whoever makes up the majority. Most American men know too many white women to maintain a stereotyped view of them. Because they likely know and interact with fewer Asian women, they can still convince themselves they are all delicate, odorless lotus flowers (but devils in the sack). ---
