And judging by the reactions my brunette-blue-eye-average-breast-size-white-GF got when we went to VN to visit back in 2001, she was just an interesting person to talk to, and nothing more to the folks back home. Now to my Mom, it’s another story… Do I have a “white fetish”? I don’t know, but the only reason I went for her she is the way she smiles (or rather smiling without realizing it - it seems that I’m the only one who can see it). She could be blue for all I care. ---

My gut reaction to this question is that almost anyone could make the leap from “unusual hereabouts” to “exotic and therefore desirable”. My blue-eyed blonde sister-in-law visited friends in Japan and attracted lots of attention for the simple fact that she didn’t look like everyone else. ---

I can`t say for sure that asian people crave for westerners, but I can say without a doubt that they are, by and large, completely crackers about white skin. Men lust fair skinned ladies and girls spare no efforts in getting whiter. ---

[/QUOTE] Yeah, I’m sure I was generalising. I was going by the pin ups in the locker room where I work. When I went to Vietnam a couple of times, I got one pretty much universal result from the girls there - giggly shyness. I don’t think they were particularly interested though. ---
